ARCHIVED 2022-24 Year 5 Blog

 Year 5 practised all that they have learnt this half term. They learnt how to ask directions, which they then applied by then drawing in their own route on a map and writing  the corresponding  directions with the help of given sentence structures. 

 Year 5 practised the French alphabet and the vocabulary they have learnt so far.  They sang their song and followed along with directions on a map.They were given a given sentence structure and substituted words, focusing on using au or a la.  E

 Today year 5 have been creating an optical art piece. 

Four children were chosen to represent Gurnard Primary at a maths challenge in Ryde. All of the children were a real credit to the school. All four enjoyed the tasks they were set and the timed challenges.
