Computing - Introduction to Crumble

No, not the pudding! In today's computing lesson, Year 5 were learning all about the Redfern Electronics Crumble, a microcontroller used for a variety of coding related tasks. We had a chance to familiarise ourselves with the devices, before looking at how they are connected to inputs and outputs using crocodile clips. Finally, we connected a 'sparkle' - a small LED light - which we attempted to program in order to make it light up. We had great fun learning with these devices this afternoon and we are looking forward to using them further next week!
