PE- rugby

Learning objective: I can begin to show confidence in using ball skills in various ways, passing and dribbling with success. (Ga1)

This week Year 5 looked at various passing techniques of rugby, specifically ‘pocket rocket’. After going through technique the children then were taught the rules of rugby in regards to passing backwards.

Their progression throughout the lesson was brilliant. Starting in a circle, then progressing to their knees passing behind them. They finally moved on to running, catching and passing all in one movement.
