Science - What are celestial bodies?
Today we stayed a little closer to home, focusing on our own Solar System - The Milky Way. We began with an 'odd one out' activity, discussing which why the Sun, Moon and Earth are different. We decided one reasons for why all of them could be justified as the odd-one out, giving excellent scientific justification.
We then explored our Solar System, learning the order of the planets and looking at what other Celestial bodies we may find across our solar system. We learned that our four inner rocky planets are separated from the outer gas giants with a huge asteroid belt!
