Rap workshop - celebrating Black History

Today, Year 5 learned about Black History month with the help of a visitor - Mrs Richards. We learned about the message of Black History month this year - actions not words. We talked about how it's important to talk about injustice but it's more important to stand up for what we believe in. Year 5 wrote and performed their own hard-hitting raps which gave advice to anyone who sees injustice - 'see something, say something, don't just watch.'
