PE- Sportshall athletics

Learning objectives: I can begin to use my observations to improve my work. (EI2) I can begin to record my own performances and begin to evaluate others using IPads. (EI3)

This week the children used the IPads to slow-mo their jumps. Mr Lines broke down the skills and the children practiced. Mr Lines then introduced the the use of the IPads to allow the pupils to slow-mo their own and peers standing long jump.

The children filmed each other and then coached and evaluated each others' performances and jumps. Most children were fantastic in their understanding of how to enable their peers to improve their jumps, commenting useful things such as: "You need to tuck your knees. You should have your chest up when you jump."

Well done Year 5
