Why does Norway experience 24 hours of darkness?


24 hours of darkness you say. How? 

The tilt of the Earth (23.5) causes parts of Norway to be turned away from the sun. Thus, when it rotates, the most northern parts of Norway are always in the dark ( not completely black).
